THE UNGUARDED

Hello Friends,

Happy New Week!

We live in a world where everything and everyone around us are contesting for our time. With the advent of digital globalization, almost everything is automated and digital. Innovation is at top gear and things are evolving. Methodologies have changed and everyone is on the fast lane. The world is now a global village as physical activities have collapsed into technology. There is information overload which makes it very easy for many to become overwhelmed. Sadly, this change that we are experiencing has sentenced many people to a life of captivity, while other have found a way to optimize it.

I sat next to a young boy in church this past Sunday and he tugged his head down looking at his phone almost all through the service. He was engrossed with what he was watching on his phone and when he was tired, he slept off. I am not sure he was able to follow through with all that was going on in church. This generation is exposed to the danger that comes with the provisions of the digital age. Many are unguarded and are not even aware of the negative impact it has on them. We have a responsibility to our world to make visible the line that differentiates the benefits of the internet age from the danger it poses to people that are unguarded.

There is need to devise a mean to stay guarded from the thronging traffic of the internet driven distractions and keep the young ones focused on what matters daily.

Unguarded parents/guardians cannot guard the little ones. What we were meant to carry, is now carrying us. The net can be used to our advantage but you must be discipline to filter through the pages without stopping to see what you didn’t plan to stop for. People spend hours on social media platforms frittering away time just scrolling through pages, sitting and waiting to comment on every post. If you don’t structure your life and guard it, your life will be infiltrated. When you feed the mind with unhealthy information, it will malfunction.

A wake up call to look out for the little ones who cannot filter through to know what to click on and what not to click on. Let’s structure and organize our time, making the best out of every ticking second and ensuring the next generation is properly guarded from internet distractions.

Learn to optimize your time.

Pls broadcast this message and save the younger ones.

Thanks
