Impact of Delayed Action

Hello friends, I am super excited that you stopped by at my blog today to add to your knowledge. Today we will be looking at the impact of delayed actions. And also at right actions, strategic actions, smart actions. 




The word 'action' means the process of doing something, typically to achieve an aim. Every day we see different kind of actions in display. 

And things to note;

- The motives behind them differentiate one action from another. 
- The people carrying out the actions qualify or quantify the actions.
- The urgency of the action ascertain the timing for the action.

It is not enough to make decisions,  you must follow up and follow through with action steps. 

We see in the Bible in  Joel 3:14; "Thousand upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decisions."
Many are stuck in the valley of decisions. There is a huge difference between decisions and actions. That you decided doesn't mean you have done it. Many are sitting on decisions that will never become realities because of the following;

1. Fear of the unknown
2. Fear of taking the first step
3. Waiting for perfect timing
4. Seeking pity-party
5. Fear of being called a failure 
6. Feeling unqualified for the task 
7. Letting distraction stand in the way

I came to encourage you to rise up and;

  • Do it afraid
  • Stop analysis
  • Focus on the present
  • Celebrate what you have and put it to work
  • Learn, train, develop while on it
  • Don't wait for a perfect condition
  • Move into action and don't stop

Have you stopped to imagine where you would be today if you had taken the action 5 years ago?

- What you would have gained? 
- The impact you would have made.
- The empire you would have built.
- The changes/contributions you would have made to our world.

Life unfolds in increments. Be ready to stretch for the best to emerge. 

The cost of delayed actions is weightier than the cost of trying and failing.

It will cost you courage, time, the network circle you would have connected to, delayed destiny, self esteem, destiny heights/promotions in life if you keep delaying that right action.

There is still time while you are alive to make a difference in your world by deciding to take one step of action in front of another until you grow to the level where you can joggle more than 2 at a time.

You can start that business, start that training, start that project and the provision you need will be made available as you commence the journey. 

Stop over-thinking how it will go, what turn it will take, who will support or not. 
Just start; take the flight now and grow your wings while your fly.
