The Pain, Your Power

So glad to have you stop by again today.  Hope you are expectant because hope pulls the future into the present.  Today we will be considering a sensitive topic, Pain.  Are you ready for this?

https://meginspires.blogspot.com/2016/06/understanding-seasons.html  For some, it has been a prolonged excruciating pain, and for others it's been momentary.  Most importantly, we must understand that there are two sides to the coin.  Our scripture for today is 2 Corinthians 4:17 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" KJV.

The Bible refers to our painful experience as 'light affliction' but the interesting part of it is that it grooms you into a person that you never knew was inside of you.  Every time you overcome a period of pain, you defeat, a part of you that cannot stand up to challenges and you unveil a new you who is unconquerable in that spheres of happening.  Pain applies pressure to your life and brings out the treasure in you.  2 Cor. 4:7 "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of you" KJV.

Man, naturally enjoys a state of comfort but you are never at your best at this state.
When pressure is applied to something the content is spilled.  You will never know what you can do or undergo except you are under pressure.  So what are we talking about here? LEARN TO TURN YOUR PAIN INTO YOUR POWER. Gold has to go through the fire to emerge as pure as we behold it, so the fire really isn't going to consume but REFINE YOU, if only you can look at the other side of the coin Isaiah 43:2, Psalm 66:12.  Pain brings change, nothing ever remains the same after a painful experience, so you must learn to accept CHANGE as you journey through destiny path.  Change is the only constant thing, when you celebrate change, you stay afloat and not get buried with the rubble.  Pain will do the following:

- Change your plans
- Interrupt your process
- Break your routine
- Make you appear incapacitated
- Break your flesh (Body)
- Challenge your Faith

But the goodness is if the Spirit that quickened Christ dwells in you, it will quicken your mortal body John 6;63, Romans 8:11.

You need the Mind of Christ. 1Cor2:16, Phi 2:8. Romans 12:2.

What mind did Christ have?

Hebrews 12:2  "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
There is always glory on the other side of the pain.... if only you can do the following while going through the pain;

1.  Look away from the Pain unto Christ
2.  Don't let the pain get to your spirit. Proverbs 25:28, 17:22
3.  Celebrate the change and deliberately enjoy the moment. (Keep your Joy)
4.  Draw strength from your past victories and never give in
5.  Remember you are a survivor...Keep that in mind
6.  Don't mourn over what you lose rather lay hold on what you have gained
7.  See the pain as another opportunity to let out a treasure in you
8. When overwhelmed seek counsel from the right source
9. Master the act of dependability on God (Raise a prayer altar and sacrifice on it to God)
10. Lay hold on the power that emerges within you after the pain and channel it into the fulfillment of destiny.

Your 'light affliction' as Paul refers to it in the Bible secures an EXCEEDING and ETERNAL WEIGHT of GLORY.  No pain, No Power.

YOUR POWER LIES IN THE PAIN, REACH FOR IT NOW!
